The Amphibious Flying Club

To achieve a NPPL (National Private Pilots Licence) you will have to complete at least 32 hours flying instruction of which 22 hours are dual and 10 hours are solo with one flight of 100nm during which time you land at two other airfields. You will be required to pass written exams and the radio telephony oral exam (as per the PPL course).

Finally you take a Navigation Flight Test and General skills Test (GST).

You cannot add a night qualification or an IMC rating to this, although you can add a seaplane rating.
