The Amphibious Flying Club

Night Rating

Training for this qualification will allow you to do exactly what it says - fly at night.

You will need 5 hours overall night training in an aeroplane to include 3 hours dual training (1 hour to be a dual navigation) and 5 take off and full stop landings at night as PIC.

This is an amazing experience. Taking off into a clear night is spectacular! At 3000ft you can literally see one side of Northern Ireland to the other. Definitely worth doing!
